Do you have passion, enthusiasm and knowledge to lead and empower a team? Are you selfmotivated and knowledgeable with two or more years of experience in Anaesthetics perioperative care setting? If so, we would like you to join our team within the Planned Care division.
As an experienced and skilled Theatre Practitioner, you will be required to provide leadership within the clinical area and provide direction and inspiration to the department.
You will be an integral part of a highly motivated team of practitioners in delivering the best of care to our patients and to continually promote innovation, using the latest technology to provide the highest level of care to a diverse population within the elective and emergency pathway.
Our team here in Medway Theatres and Day Care Centre comprises of experienced and Junior Nurses and ODPs, Care Support Workers, Anaesthetists and Surgeons, along with many other members of the MDT. We cover 10 main theatres including CEPOD and Trauma, 4 day surgery theatres and 2 obstetric theatres. We have a diverse workforce with each member bringing a unique and special talent.
As a Senior Practitioner, you will be visible and approachable with a drive to build on and improve standards utilising the Medway Institute for Improvement. You will also represent the department outside of theatres and liaise with team members across the Trust.
